How do I cancel and get a refund for my online travel purchase?

First review the terms and conditions on your travel itinerary email confirmation copy. You may also want to contact Online Travel Services staff for information on exact penalties and service fees. If your travel begins within 48 hours or less you must contact Online Travel Services for assistance.  Additional information on this subject is provided in our Terms and Conditions statement at: http://www.pandaonline.com/terms-and-conditions/.  All requests must be sent in writing via email to: cancellations@onlinetravel-services.com.  Be sure to reference your booking number and/or record locator along with the traveler’s name(s) on your written request for cancellation and refund.

What is electronic ticketing?

An electronic ticket (e-ticket) requires no paper ticket. The confirmation/itinerary that you receive upon payment of your reservation is your proof of ticketing. Bring both your confirmation/itinerary and a photo ID. to the airport when checking in for your flight to receive your boarding pass. The benefit of an e-ticket is that it cannot be lost or stolen.

Is an ID required for me to fly?

Due to heightened security at all airports, airlines airport security personnel are required to check valid government issued photo identification of all passengers. The name on each ticket must match the valid government issued photo ID shown to ticket agents at the airport.

Are the Terms and Conditions important?

Yes absolutely. The terms and conditions let you know special rules and requirements about your trip. You need to read them every time you purchase travel.

Why would I need travel insurance?

With most travel being non-refundable after purchase, a Travel Protection Plan includes a Trip Cancellation benefit that may cover the cost of penalties and/or non-refundable portions of your travel costs if you or your traveling companion become ill or injured preventing you from traveling.  For more information on travel protection click here

What documents do I need for travel abroad?

All passengers traveling outside the US are required to have certain travel documents including: a valid passport, a round trip airline ticket or proof of onward travel, a visa issued by some destination countries, medical inoculations for infected areas/countries, proof of sufficient funds when entering the destination country (some countries have a departure tax payable at the airport before departing the country). Each passenger is responsible for obtaining the proper travel documents prior to purchasing airline tickets. Contact the destination country’s Consulate for details. The names on all travel documents (tickets, passports, visas) must identically match.

When must I arrive at the airport?

All passengers must be checked in at airports a minimum of two hours before departure on all domestic flights and three hours before departure for international flights.

Will I always get the seat and meal I want?

Meal and seat preferences will be passed on to the airline, but cannot be guaranteed. Seats for all passengers will be selected automatically based on the best seats available and adjacent to the primary passenger, if possible.

Is there an extra charge for special meals?

No, simply ask for the meal when you make your reservation. But choices may be limited and meal service is not offered on all flights. Check with the airline for meal service for particular flights.

Is there a fee for changing or canceling my flight?

If you wish to change or cancel your flight, you will need to contact your Panda Travel ® agent or airline. Depending on the airline, you may be subject to fare increases and substantial service fees.

What will happen if I lose my ticket or don’t use it?

If paper tickets are lost, call your Panda Travel ® agent or the airline to file a claim. Depending on the individual airlines’ policy, you may be penalized substantial fees or required to purchase a new ticket. If the lost ticket is not recovered or used within 6 months, the airlines will, at a minimum, make a partial refund less processing fees. Certain bulk and coupon tickets are absolutely nonrefundable, even if lost, stolen or damaged. A minimum service fee will apply. Check with your Panda Travel ® agent or the airline for specific fees, policies and procedures regarding lost tickets.
