What’s New at Disneyland

Hawaii people want to know:  what’s new at Disneyland?  Many feel that after Las Vegas, Disneyland in Orange County, California, is Hawaii’s second most favorite travel destination, especially for local families with young children.  Well, the first thing is that prices went up.  Sadly, Disneyland jacked up its one-day, one park admission prices for adults to $92 and for kids to $86.  Bucking most commonly accepted definitions, an adult is considered to be 10 years and older in the Disneyland Resort (which includes Disneyland and the California Adventure parks).

Getting past sticker shock, the Disneyland Resort has a lot of offer for anyone who is a fan of anything Disney.  And this goes for most anyone, young and old alike.  It already has been long established that Disneyland, or any of the Disney properties worldwide, is not just for kids.  In California, Disney has been broadening its appeal to a wider base of customers and the evolving California Adventure theme park is evidence of that.  Last year, Disney revamped the front-entrance of its California Adventure park and added the new Little Mermaid ride, opened the Car Lands attraction and expanded the Bug’s Life area.  While The Mickey and the Magical Map” in the Fantasyland Theatre and Fantasy Faire near Sleeping Beauty’s Castle was just recently added to Disneyland.

The roving staff of Panda Travel ® will be venturing to the Disneyland Resort in the upcoming weeks to give its clients an updated and close up report.  Stay tuned.
