Nestled on 19 acres of wooded grounds, on the California side of South Lake Tahoe, the Lakeland Village is only one mile from Heavenly Ski Resort gondola and offers a complimentary shuttle that takes guests not only there, but to town and gaming areas.

Accommodations include spacious studios and suites with all units complete with a full kitchen, private balcony or deck, fireplace, cable TV with HBO and even a VCR, with movie rentals available at the front desk. Other amenities include telephones with data ports, voice mail, room service, coffee/tea maker, clock radio, microwave, wake-up calls, hair dryer and more.

In the winter only, guests have the option of a complimentary Continental Breakfast served in the lobby or Lakeshore Room every morning. There is no on-site restaurant, but nearby is the award winning restaurant, Dory's Oar Restaurant, a cozy, relaxing place serving California cuisine with a touch of European flavor. Above is The Tudor English Pub, noted for its great pub food and atmosphere. Mulligan's is an award winning Irish pub and restaurant featuring a great list of items to choose from and for reasonable priced food and drink in a nice atmosphere, check out Lake Tahoe Brewery.

Property amenities include a swimming pool, spa tub and wading pool for children, open during the summer season. Another heated swimming pool and spa tub is open year round and in a nearby building are a sauna and women's and men's locker rooms. There is also a ski shop that rents and sells equipment and apparel, complimentary coffee available in the lobby all day, laundry facilities and much more.
