Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of Aloha

You've added some spice to your life (the Pro Bowl) and now its time to add some romance (the Cruise). Four days into the cruise it will be Valentine's Day and what a better gift to give to the one you love, then a romantic, star filled cruise through the rather romantic islands of Hawaii.

You'll be cruising on the Pride of Aloha - a sleek, beautiful ship with world-class amenities and accommodations. There are 6 restaurants, thirteen bars and lounges, nightly entertainment, 2 swimming pools, 5 hot tubs, jogging/walking track, fitness center, 2 golf driving nets, shops, library and a Spa to mention a few of the amenities.

Your first stop will be on the beautiful island of Kauai, where no building can be higher than the tallest coconut tree. If you love nature, you'll love Kauai with all its waterfalls, hiking trails and lush greenery. Add an adventure such as the Rainforest 4 x 4 Hiking Adventure or the Wailua River Motorcoach Excursion, either one a great way to see some hidden parts of this beautiful island.

From there you will cruise to the Big Island, home to one of the world's most active volcanoes. First stop will be in Hilo. Located on the Windward side of the Big Island, the small town of Hilo has restored many of their old buildings and filled them with boutiques, cafes and galleries - well worth a visit. It is also the closest town to the active volcano. For an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime memory consider the Circle of Fire Helicopter Adventure, that flies over the very active Kilauea Volcano - a trip you'll never forget.

Later that evening you'll sail to the other side of the Big Island overnight for another day- long visit, this time in Kona. Kona is on the dry side of the island, lots of lava to see from previous eruptions and almost always sunny. It is not a big town, but does have lots of restaurants, shops, boutiques and art galleries to wander through. For a great adventure, reserve a spot on the afternoon trip on the Captain Zodiac Raft Expedition.

The final stop of your visit to the islands before returning to Honolulu is Kahului, Maui. For close to 2 days, you can explore this most magical, mystical island in the chain. Mt. Haleakala, or The House of the Sun is a magnificent volcano that some consider dormant, others extinct. To drive up there early in the morning to watch the sun come up over the opposite crater rim is simply an unforgettable experience. Or for a water adventure it would be hard to beat Molokini Snorkeling, a great adventure and opportunity to see sea turtles and fish of every color and description.

The next morning you'll arrive back in Honolulu for disembarkation. You'll have spent 7 nights at sea, experienced four islands, seen sights you'll never see anywhere else, dined on fantastic food, hopefully danced the night away at least once, counted lots of stars and made lots of wishes and had the time of your life. Now that's not only romantic, that's memorable.
