The California Hotel and Casino was the first property of the Boyd Gambling Group. With the hotel's premiere location in Downtown Las Vegas, this is a tropical paradise. Although it's called the California, it has the Aloha Spirit of Hawaii, with thousands of Hawaii residents flocking to this particular hotel. Why? Because they have a wonderful staff who are friendly and hospitable and truly make you feel welcome ... similar to visiting Hawaii. The rooms all have a tropical motif and are a lovely respite from the activity of the casino.
