Walt Disney World® Resort is a wonderful combination of theme parks and water parks. The theme parks include Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Disney-MGM Studios. The water parks are Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
Everyone knows the Magic Kingdom® Park is the happiest place on the planet. Who can resist Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the rest of the gang. Then there is the ever lovely Cinderella who lives in a magical castle, great rides (think Space Mountain®) and so many things to do and see you can spend all day, every day and still have more to see, including Wishes™: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams Fireworks, the nighttime spectacular which is the brightest and biggest fireworks display in their history.
Epcot® is a must for adults, although there are quite a few things that even younger children will enjoy, such as the Imagination! pavilion and The Living Seas pavilion. But for teens and adults, Mission: SPACE® is an amazing new adventure, not to be missed, that puts you in control of a spaceship. Or, experience the world's most famous geosphere in the Spaceship Earth Attraction.
Besides the wonderful future worlds of Epcot® there is the World Showcase which features eleven different nations. It is a cultural celebration featuring music, entertainment and shopping from such diverse nations as Morocco, Japan, Norway, Italy and China. But the best part is that the restaurants representing the various countries serve excellent authentic food. When eating at the French Bistro it is easy to imagine yourself in Paris.
Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is Walt Disney World® Resort's newest park. Here you can go on a safari, visit a prehistoric world, delve into the mysteries of Southeast Asia and see the Tree of Life on Discovery Island®.
The bright lights of show business are featured at Disney-MGM Studios. Here you can learn the secrets of animation, take in the skyline of Manhattan and the glamour of Hollywood Boulevard. It's a wonderful glimpse into movie making that the whole family would enjoy.
