Check-in airport at least 2-1/2 hours prior to departure.
Depart Honolulu via China Airlines CI/ 1 to Taipei, with connecting
flight CI/763 to Hong Kong. En route, you will cross over the International Dateline.
Jan 23 - Taipei - Hong Kong
Depart Taipei for Hong Kong.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Royal Garden hotel.
Jan 24 - Hong Kong
Start the morning with breakfast at the Royal Garden
Hotel, followed by a Tour of Lantau Island. The All-Day
Tour includes a visit to the oldest Tai O Fishing Village
and the Po Lin Monastery followed by lunch at the Po Lin
Monastery Snack Bar (at your own expense). After Lunch there
will be a visit to the well known Flower Market. Tour is approximately 7 to 8 hours).
Jan 25 - Hong Kong
Free day of leisure. Optional: visit the Dried Seafood Wholesale Market.
Jan 26 - Hong Kong - Chinese New Year Parade
The Chinese New Year Parade in Hong Kong is simply spectacular
and one of the largest celebrations of the year. The parade winds
through the streets of Hong Kong toward the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront
where there is plenty of space for the endless crowds. It is a colorful,
noisy, yet joyous celebration to welcome in the Year of the Ox. There is
no charge for watching the parade along the parade route, but with an
additional fee, preferred reserved seats are available. Kung Hei Fat Choy!
Jan 27 - Hong Kong
Free day of leisure. Optional: Full Shenzhen China excursion.
Jan 28 - Hong Kong - Macau (passport required)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the pier
for the boat ride to Macau (45 minutes). Upon arrival,
visit Penha Hill, A Ma Temple and the ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Check into the Rio Hotel & Casino, then the balance of the day is free
for you to explore this fascinating “Las Vegas of the Orient” city.
Jan 29 - Macau - Hong Kong
After breakfast, return to Hong Kong by boat.
Jan 30 - Hong Kong - Honolulu
After breakfast, transfer to Hong Kong International Airport.
Depart Hong Kong via China Airlines for Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu on the same day.
[Optional] Hong Kong - Zhongshan package (2 days & 2 nights) Transfer to pier for the boat ride to Zhongshan. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Zhongshan International Hotel or Fu Hua Hotel. En route, enjoy a sightseeing tour before checking in at your hotel. The next day is a free day and after breakfast at the hotel you can go shopping, explore or visit your ancestral village. The following morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier for your return to Hong Kong.
