Description
Many of today's prominent epic adventure films show us breathtaking landscapes stretching for miles, mountain peaks soaring high above the clouds and wide rivers flowing through dense forests. In Peru, your family will explore diverse landscapes that seem to have been taken straight from the movies. Visit the windswept village of Chinchero and learn the art of traditional weaving. See stunning views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas - then go white-water rafting right through it!
You'll explore the unique Moray Ruins and see thousands of salt pools in Maras. Explore the "Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu, the most famous archeological wonder in South America. Visit the Pisac Market in the valley below and marvel at colonial Cusco. Visit Sacsayhuaman and see its intricate stonework, giant boulders and breathtaking views.
Notice:
The majority of this Adventure takes place at altitudes between 8,000 to 12,000 feet.
