The 3.5 Star Sundial Lodge is in the heart of The Canyons Resort Village on the outskirts of Park City. Designed in the style of Utah's grand mountain lodges, the Sundial Lodge defines the essence of the resort village with its exposed wooden beams, stone floors and fireplaces. There are 158 guestrooms and condominium units with either village or mountain views. The Sundial Lodge property is entirely nonsmoking.

The hotel rooms are warm and welcoming with soothing décor and many amenities including Cable/Satellite TV, internet dial up access (fee), complimentary toiletries, two-line phones, voice mail, wake up calls, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, jetted tub, clock radio, multi-line phone, VCR and more. Studio amenities include all of the above plus microwave, refrigerator and washer & dryer. Most have balconies and fireplaces.

While there is no restaurant on site, there are many restaurants choices in the area, as well as bars and après ski spots. Doc's at the Gondola is considered the premiere place for après ski, serving wonderful appetizers and drinks. While it is on the higher price scale, it's considered worth a visit.

The Cabin is considered one of the premiere dining experiences in the area. While it is expensive, the food, décor and atmosphere of the restaurant might well be worth the price. For less expansive fare, try out Smokie's Smokehouse, a family-style restaurant featuring Cajun fare and Barbeque. For unbelievable views, check out the Red Pine Lodge located at the top of Gondola, serving great pizzas, grilled entrees and more. And while it's kind of pricey, the view alone will be worth it.

The Sundial Lodge offers complimentary underground parking, ski storage, fitness equipment, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, ski shuttle, arcade/game room and a rooftop spa tub and plunge pool. All village and mountain activities are accessible on foot and there is also daycare for children. This is a very well run ski lodge with comfortable rooms, lots of amenities and many repeat guests, as well as positive reviews from previous guests.
