Roy Yamaguchi is considered the father of modern East-West cooking, which he refers to as Hawaiian Regional Cuisine. This year he celebrates his 20th year after opening his first award winning Hawaii restaurant in Hawaii Kai. At his newest restaurant at Waikiki Beach Walk, he once again has created an exciting, up scale restaurant, beautifully decorated and with an energy that is almost palatable. The menu, the food and the atmosphere all combine to create a memorable restaurant that patrons will return to time and time again. No one gets tired of the signature Blackened Ahi or the Lobster California Roll or signature entrees of Hibachi Grilled Salmon or the delicious Macadamia Nut Crusted Fish. The menus might change seasonally, but the food remains as excellent and inventive as when they first opened. Open from 5:30 to 10 pm daily. Reservations are recommended.
