People come from all over the island to dine at Maui Mike's - well perhaps not dine, as there really aren't that many tables and a lot of people get take-out, but the Fire Roasted Chicken might well be the best chicken you've ever tasted in your life. It's a secret as to what Maui Mike puts in his seasoning, but it's no secret as to how great it tastes. Add some of his Spicy Cajun Fries and you have a meal made in heaven. You can buy chicken combos in baskets, feasts (for crowds) and various sides. Oh yes, there is also a secret dipping sauce for the chicken which is simply yummy. If you're heading for the North Shore, take the road through the town of Wahiawa, where you'll find Maui Mike's on the right hand side of the road, painted a rather bright yellow. It will be well worth your time. Open daily 11 am to 8:30 pm.
