Le Bistro is one of only a handful of French restaurants in the Honolulu Area. Located in a small shopping strip mall on the way to Hawaii Kai/Hanauma Bay, it is an amazing experience to open the door and suddenly you are in a restaurant in France. A very good restaurant in France with an intimate atmosphere, decorated with warm colors, flowers and crisp linens. The food is simply wonderful, especially the classic Bistro Steak featuring a Black Angus Delmonico cut with cognac, Roquefort butter sauce and caramelized shallots and the fresh Manila Clams in broth. The service is superb and there is a very extensive wine list to choose from to compliment your meal. Le Bistro is not very large and is always filled, so reservations in advance are strongly suggested. Open for dinner 5:30 to 8:30 pm Sun., Mon., Wed. and Thurs., 5:30 to 9 pm Fri. and Sat.
