JP Spaghetti has absolutely no atmosphere, but serves excellent sauces and Italian specialties at unbelievably low prices. The most expensive seafood pasta with a generous offering of calamari, shrimp, mussels and chopped clams with a choice of sauce is under $10, which also includes bread. His Puttanesca and Arrabiata sauces are fantastic and perfect for the lover of spicy food. He uses only linguine for his pasta, but every conceivable combination is available, including Saltimbocca, Parmigiana, or Cacciatore. You can get your pasta with chicken, sausage, calamari, fish, shrimp, mussels and scallops and for vegetarians, he makes a wonderful mixed vegetable sauce served over the pasta. And everything is under $10! There are salads and side orders as well as an exceptionally well made cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake. You won't find white linen tablecloths here, but you will find very good food for a great price, even if it's served on paper plates with plastic forks. Check it out if you're going to the North Shore to see the big waves, just take the exit to Wahiawa. Open Mon. to Fri. from 11 am to 9 pm and Sat. from noon to 9 pm, closed Sunday.
