It has a great name and décor, but Soup Nutzs and Java Jazz gets rave reviews for not only their atmosphere, but for their food. The décor is funky to say the least, the music is great, the staff is excellent as well as being personable and the food is really good. Breakfast choices include large omelets of every description, pancakes (only 3 of them, but they equal about 10 regular size pancakes) and an unbelievably wonderful French toast made with Hawaiian sweet bread, cream cheese and raspberry coulis - unforgettable. Lunch includes choices of soup, salads and some great sandwiches such as the catch of the day Blackened Fish Sandwich served with baby greens, tomato, onion and roasted red pepper aioli. They also have a Java Kids menu for those 10 and under with some great inexpensive choices. The only reason they are not listed with just one $sign is for the dinner selections, which do include such pricier items like Surf & Turf, Spiny Lobster Tail and Filet Mignon. Stop by and see what everyone is raving about, enjoy some excellent food, listen to great jazz and just have a terrific time. Open 6 am to 9 pm daily
