If you love barbeque, you're going to love the Smokehouse BBQ Bar & Grill. All their meats are slow cooked and smoked over Hawaiian Kiawe wood (Mesquite). The results are meat that falls off the bone, fabulous finger lickin' ribs and juicy pulled pork. Add in their seasonings and sauces and you have a barbeque to remember. They have a very extensive menu of appetizers, fresh salads, side orders and some great lunch sandwiches, which is served till 4 pm. The have very good fish sandwiches and burgers, but hey, this is a barbeque place, so order either the smoked pork, roast beef or Kalua pork sandwich, all served with steak fries. For under $10 you can also get a rib basket with fries, a top choice.

Now for the true barbeque lover, the evening is the time for the more serious barbeque items featuring Baby Back Pork Ribs, Beef Ribs and quite a few combos such as the Ribs & Louisiana Sausage or Chicken. There are other entrees, but it's hard to resist those ribs - tender, juicy, dripping with a wonderful barbeque sauce, falling off the bone - pure heaven. Add some fries and coleslaw and you've got a winner. The food gets rave reviews from those who were lucky enough to discover the Smokehouse BBQ and they do a big business in takeout, especially with all the condos in Maui. The prices are extremely reasonable, the owners and staff extremely friendly and the food is extremely good - also memorable. Open daily 11 am to 10 pm, except Sunday closed.
