The Chef refers to his creations as refined comfort food. Serving classic American Bistro food, well known Chef Tom Selman is open for lunch and tapas only. The food receives rave reviews whether for the late afternoon for the Tapas or early on for lunch. And no matter what you order, you must try the Fried Maui Onion Rings, thin sliced and served with smoky homemade Ketchup using Maui tomatoes - unforgettable. Add a juicy roast beef sandwich on an open face French roll and you'll be a happy camper. There are Maryland-style crab cakes, fried chicken, a delicious roasted Chinese Chicken Salad, slow cooked Baby Back Ribs with Poha Berry Honey Mustard, Ranch Burgers and a tasty Roasted Beet Salad and even more selections.

The Tapas include mini hamburgers, crispy crab and shrimp gau gee and some of his great barbequed ribs as well as other items, just perfect to nibble on while sipping on a glass of wine or beer, or trying out an outstanding martini, something else the Main Street Bistro is well known for. The prices are very reasonable and the food is truly gourmet comfort food. Nice atmosphere, nice service and great food - well worth driving from anywhere on the island you're staying to experience and enjoy the Main Street Bistro. Open Mon. to Fri. for lunch from 11 am to 2:30 pm and Tapas from 3 to 7 pm.
