The Gazebo Restaurant is rated #1 of 124 restaurants in Lahaina on TripAdvisor. Located at the Outrigger Napili Shores Condominiums, the small poolside restaurant is close to the beach and ocean, with tide pools to entertain the children when waiting in line. And waiting in line seems to be the only negative thing about the Gazebo - the lines are long and the wait can be up to an hour, but fans say the food is well worth the wait. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch only featuring the kitchen in the center of the room with about 15 tables surrounding it. There is nothing special about the décor, but the views are beautiful. The service is quick and the food comes out piping hot. But it is the food that brings fans back time and again. The portions are large and reasonably priced and there is a nice selection of both breakfast and lunch items, including the Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes which receives raves from diners. Also popular are the various omelets, Eggs Benedict, side orders of Portuguese sausage and great corned beef hash and strange as it may seem, the Fried Rice Plate with a combination of rice, peppers, onions, bacon, sausage and eggs - it's a huge amount of food, but you can ask for a half an order. They also offer salads and burgers, but the obvious draw is breakfast. They open at 7:30 am (lines start forming at about 7 am) and close at 2 pm.
