If you're driving the road to Hana, you might want to stop off at this charming little café that serves the same menu throughout the day. The food has a definite Mediterranean/Indian flair, with French crepes and curry wraps the most popular items. The savory crepes include ham with Gruyere Cheese, spinach with Feta Cheese, Chicken, Avocado & Mozzarella and Brie Avocado and Apple. Whichever you pick, you are in for delightful meal. Vegetarians are not forgotten with the delicious Mediterranean Vegetables crepe, filled with an assortment of fresh veggies. Café des Amis also features excellent salads, if you want to eat light.

The Curry Wraps include Beef & Mushroom, Shrimp & Coconut, both with rice and fabulous seasonings and a Vegetables & Rice. At dinner time there are authentic Indian curries offered, accompanied by rice, mango and tomato chutney. You can also order breakfast crepes and dessert crepes which should not be missed, in particular the Banana and Chocolate Crepe. Have it with a cup of coffee who many fans say is the best in all of Maui. This is a really nice restaurant where the ingredients are fresh with a simple presentation, but flavors that just leap off the plate and at very reasonable prices. Open daily from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm
