The Panda Group would like to thank everyone who joined us during our very successful Disney Day event held on January 19, 2008. Over 240 pounds of food was collected and $1,020 was donated to the Hawaii Food Bank.
Disney Day Fun at Panda Travel
The three hour event offered Hawaii residents the opportunity to familiarize themselves with planning a Disney vacation, including travel to Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, a cruise on Disney Cruise Line®, or Disney's newest addition, Adventures by Disney escorted tours.
Disney Day Fun- Emerald Tsui with Kokua the Panda Bear
Panda's own Disney specialists along with Disney representative Jim Vega were on hand to answer any questions and to highlight Disney's special deals and discounts on some great packages. Panda's mascot, Kokua even got into the act, posing for pictures with the kids and encouraging donations from those in attendance.

All those who donated a canned food item were eligible to win some great prizes, including Disney key chains and collectible Disney pins. Congratulations to Mr. Anthony Kato of Kapolei, our Grand Prize winner who received roundtrip flights for 2 to Los Angeles and 2 two-day Park Hopper® Tickets, the perfect way to start a Disney vacation for himself and his grandchildren. Mahalo for making this worthwhile community event successful!
