Kona Coast Resort

75-5852 Alii Drive Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740

Overlooking spectacular Kailua Bay on the Kona Coast

The Kona Coast Resort is located on 21 acres of tropical gardens, just inland from Keauhou Bay on the Big island of Hawaii. The two- and three-story condos, like many others on the neighbor islands,do not have elevators, but the views from the 2nd and 3rd floor are well worth the trek up the stairs.

The air conditioned condos are extremely spacious,
featuring one- and two-bedrooms very nicely decorated in an island d&#233cor,
private patio or lanai, full kitchen and basically all the comforts of home.
The kitchens include stove/oven, microwave, coffee/tea makers, dishwashers, dishes and cookware,
as well as washers and dryers.
Room amenities include ceiling fans, cable/satellite TV. CD player, complimentary toiletries,
VCR or DVD, internet dial-up access (fee), voice mail, hair dryer, iron/board and much more.

The Sea Shell Point Restaurant is located poolside and features
indoor/outdoor seating and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Featuring Pacific Rim cuisine, the restaurant has a liquor license,
allowing guests to enjoy cocktails in the evening as the sun goes down,
or to enjoy a refreshing drink while sunning by the pool.

The Kona Coast Resort features many recreational facilities on the property,
including two outdoor swimming pools, three spa tubs,
a children’s pool and playground, barbeque grills,
a 3-mile running/jogging track, tennis courts, exercise room, sand volleyball court,
shuffleboard courts, putting green and access to the next door
Oceanside Golf Course of the Kona Country Club.

Across from the resort is the Keauhou Shopping Center with a variety of shops,
including Longs Drug Store, a great place to pick up necessities that might have been forgotten,
restaurants and a six-plex movie theatre.
In the town of Kailua-Kona, a short distance from the resort,
is both a Safeway grocery store and a Wal-Mart.
Take advantage of the resort’s barbeque grills and plan to do some grilling under the stars
– not only does it save money, it’s almost always perfect weather to grill outdoors,
no matter what time of year.

The nearest beach to the hotel is less than a half a mile away,
but too rocky for casual swimming.
Further along you’ll find the calm waters and beaches of the Kona Coast,
ideal for swimming and sunning.
There are so many activities to do on the Big Island,
from horseback riding to deep sea fishing and from touring a coffee plantation
to seeing the lava flow into the ocean.
Whether you want to be totally active or just relax and enjoy the ambiance of the island,
the Kona Coast Resort would be an ideal place to stay.
