The 2-Star Ocean Resort Hotel is an older budget property located a block from Waikiki Beach. While it does offer inexpensive lodging and a wonderful location, it has not been renovated lately so guests might find some of the rooms and furnishings dated. It is casual and relaxed and many of the rooms are quite spacious with nice views from the higher floors. The property includes two towers that are connected by a large sundeck with two splash swimming pools on the 3rd floor.
The air conditioned rooms feature an island décor and furnished lanai. Amenities include color Cable TV, mini refrigerator, in-room safe (fee), voice mail, clock radio, pay for view movies, video game system and one queen or two twin beds and more.
Directly off the large lobby is the hotel's restaurant, the Ocean Seafood & Steak House, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a very casual atmosphere and featuring such favorites as pork chops, burgers and pasta. There is also the Punawai Lounge, adjacent to the restaurant featuring daily drink specials, karaoke and open from late afternoon to early morning.
