The Miramar at Waikiki is a 2.5-star economy hotel adjacent located just one block from Waikiki beach. The large lobby is home to a shopping and dining arcade that serves as an entrance to the popular International Marketplace, a great place to pick up a souvenir.
A fresh water pool is located on the 5th floor with a sundeck and poolside bar that serves drinks from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other amenities include concierge service, laundry facilities, ATM, gift shop, parking (fee) and more. Several attractions are located within walking distance, including the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park and the Waikiki Aquarium.
The air conditioned rooms and suites at the Miramar have been recently renovated and feature furnished private lanais with views of the city, ocean or mountains. Most rooms features two double beds, while deluxe rooms have an additional king bed. Room amenities include coffee/tea maker, mini-refrigerator, cable TV with HBO and pay-per-view movies, video games, wake up calls, in-room safe (fee) and more.
Several restaurants are located on-site; Sammy's Restaurant on the 5th floor, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Denny's Family Restaurant, a family style coffee shop open 24-hours daily; Fatty's Chinese Kitchen for Chinese take-out, open 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Mika Won II Korean Restaurant, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. the early morning. The popular Banana Patch Lounge is open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly.
