The Westin Maui Resort & Spa is located on one of Hawaii's most beautiful beaches, Ka'anapali's North Beach, which in 2003 was ranked #1 on "America's Best Beaches" list. Like all Starwood properties in Hawaii, it is beautifully designed, with lush tropical plants and flowers throughout the 12 oceanfront acres.

The Westin Maui's rooms are luxurious, featuring contemporary décor with extremely comfortable furnishings, including their Heavenly Beds. If you've never experienced one, you are in for a treat and probably the best night's sleep you've had in years. The bed comes with a custom designed pillow-top mattress set, three sheets, down blanket, comforter, duvet and five pillows. The resort is smoke free, although smoking is allowed on your private lanai. Along with all the other amenities, this is definitely a heavenly experience. There is a daily resort fee that entitles you to even more amenities such as free parking, High-speed Internet Access and more.

Also heavenly is their 85,000 square-foot aquatic playground with five inter-connecting swimming pools including a fantastic waterslide. Or if you're in a more mellow sort of mood, check out the new 14,000 sq. ft. The Spa at Westin Maui. It features 16 oceanfront treatment rooms and a world class fitness center, which offers everything you could desire including state-of-the-art equipment, whirlpool, steam room & sauna as well as heavenly treatments such as massages, facials and more using Maui-grown lavender and island essences.

There are four dining options at the resort, including OnO Bar & Grill featuring casual poolside dining with a tropical bistro feel. It's an all-day dining menu featuring island specialties and family favorites. tropica is the spot for wonderful sunsets and oceanfront dining. They feature fresh island fish, steak combos and more. Children 5 to 12 may eat free at both these restaurants from the regular children's menu with a paying adult entré e. For a light breakfast, check out Colonade Café , featuring continental breakfasts from 6 to 11 am. And for a quick snack, Sea Dogs features hot dogs, popcorn and other light snacks.
