Molokai is a very special island and when you go there you’ll realize just how special. The longest white sand beach in Hawaii is part of the island, no building is taller than a palm tree, there are no elevators, no mall and no neon. Instead there are small, friendly businesses in both Kaunakaki, the largest town on the island and the villages of Maunaloa and Kualapu’u. There is not one traffic light. Molokai is Hawaii and what it once was, rural, relaxed with time to enjoy a sunset or sunrise – it is a place like no other.
