Over 80% of the ships accommodations are outside cabins with ocean views and over 94% of those feature spacious private balconies. The standard staterooms are a minimum 200 sq. ft. beautifully decorated with soft colors on the sofas, fine prints on the walls and turndown service. Amenities include interactive TV with multi-language film and music channels, data port outlet, 24 hour room service, refrigerator, hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers, in room safe and 110/220-volt outlets.

Lavish dining is considered one of the centerpieces of the QM2 experience. From formal black-tie evenings to the more casual, the food is always the star. There are 10 dining venues with each stateroom matched with a reserved table, complimented with the largest wine selection afloat. Award winning Chef, Todd English, serves innovative Mediterranean cuisine in his fabulous restaurant Todd English; there is the Britannia Restaurant, 3-stories high and reminiscent of the opulent dining salons of the past; two grill restaurants, the Princess & Queens serving delicious gourmet food; Kings Court for casual breakfast or lunch, transformed at night into four intimate dining spots; the Golden Lion Pub; Boardwalk Café and the Winter Garden, for the perfect, proper English Tea.

For children there is The Play Zone with its own Minnowa splash pool and toddlers supervised by British nannies while older children have a separate facility called The Zone. Toys and activities from board games to computer terminals feature all types of learning adventures. If you've ever had a desire to be a performer, the QM2 offers workshops and master classes by performers and directors from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, as well as readings, celebrity appearances and one-act plays.

In the evening, you can put on your gown and tux and enjoy dancing in the largest ballroom at sea - or sip champagne from Waterford crystal or wine while listening to some great jazz. Or you could stop by the Empire Casino for some roulette or dice; watch the musical revue in the Royal Court Theatre or grab a partner and head to the disco G32.

Whatever you do, it's bound to be an unforgettable journey on this most elegant of cruise ships where pampering and luxury go hand in hand.
