The 2-star Best Western The Plaza Hotel, like its sister hotel, the OHANA® Honolulu Airport Hotel, is only one-half mile from the Honolulu Airport with 24-hour complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel is 5 miles from downtown Honolulu and 8 miles from Waikiki, with a bus stop to both locations nearby ($2 one way). All guestrooms and common areas are nonsmoking. The air conditioned rooms are spacious and though the decor is dated, it is kept clean. Surprisingly, most of the rooms are not noisy considering their close proximity to the airport and for a budget hotel, feature a large amount of amenities, including cable/satellite TV, pay-for-view movies, direct dial phones, complimentary toiletries and complimentary high speed internet access. The Plaza Lounge at the hotel features sporting events broadcast live via satellite on a jumbo TV screen. The Best Western The Plaza Hotel is a very convenient place to stay at reasonable prices if you are coming in from a neighbor island and need a place to stay overnight before catching a flight the next morning or the reverse.
