Description
As soon as you depart from the hotel, your guide will relate fascinating stories about the history of nature and culture in Hawaii. You'll hike into a spectacular canyon, along a fresh mountain stream through forests of native and exotic fruit and nut trees, ferns and flowers. Rejuvenate your spirit with a swim in several pools fed by waterfalls plunging down the cliffs. Climb down the roots of a giant banyan tree to shower under a fifteen-foot waterfall.
Notes
- Elevation change of 150 feet over a distance of a half-mile each way.
- Trail can be slippery during and after heavy rain.
- Recommended attire: swimsuit under clothing, shorts, short-sleeved shirt. Please bring a towel.
- Please provide shoe size when signing up.
- There will be one or two restroom stops.
- There will be at least one guide per 12 participants.
- Children under 5 are not permitted.
